Coffee and cycling go hand in hand, so of course I’m participating in this years Coffeeneuring Challenge. There’s a few rules, but essentially you have to bike to a coffee place seven times in seven weekends and have a brew. I did this last year around the northshore of MA so why not do it in Penang? This morning a bunch of folks met up to do a charity ride around Georgetown for the Penang Hospital. It was only 13ish miles, and quite slow. At one point we passed the lead car and had to let it catch up. It was useful to just ride the bike easy, though, after walking a ton yesterday around Kek Lok Si and Penang Hill. After the group ride and stopping for breakfast I ended up at my usual coffee haunt to start off the challenge. I’m hoping the next few weekends will have me looking for other shops to check out, instead of always going to the same place.
